SINGAPORE, 7 July 2025 – What happens when two Neapolitan culinary stars reunite for the first time - not just as chefs, but as storytellers of their shared roots?

Introducing Doppio Napoli, a limited-time 4-hands set menu by Chef Ciro Sorrentino of Margheri and Il Clay and Chef Peppe of Pizzeria da Peppe Napoli Sta' Ca, one of Tokyo’s best pizzerias.
More than just a culinary collaboration, Doppio Napoli is a tribute to Naples, the city where both chefs began their culinary journeys. Though Chef Ciro and Chef Peppe have each built award-winning careers across Asia, this menu marks the first time they return to their roots together, in one kitchen.
Each dish in the 7-course menu reflects a personal memory or signature technique, from Nonna’s ragù to San Marzano-stained pizzas inspired by modern global flavours. The name “Doppio Napoli”, which means “Double Naples”, celebrates two distinct paths, one shared origin, and the enduring power of place in shaping taste, soul, and identity.

The menu opens with a rustic Grandma Meatball, braised in tomato sauce - a warm nod to Sunday family lunches in Southern Italy. It follows with Tuna Tartare with Ayu Sauce, where fine Japanese sensibility meets Italian purity in a dish that is elegant, clean, and unexpected.
The pizza course is the heart of the meal, showcasing two original creations: L’Amore per il Giappone, a refined slice with San Marzano tomato reduction, tuna, buffalo cream, and sweet-sour red onion; and Ha-Whynot, a playful combination of pulled pork, smoked cheese, sous-vide pineapple, and barbecue sauce.
To honour Naples' culinary core, the chefs present O’ Ragu ra’ Nonna, a deep, slow-simmered beef ragù served with housemade pasta steeped in tradition. The meal ends with Tiramisu Espresso, a bold and bittersweet reinterpretation of Italy’s most iconic dessert.
Available from 15 July to 14 August 2025, this special menu will be served within the establishment of Il Clay at $69 per pax, minimum 2 to dine.
